A beautiful GEM 19-S nickel example housed in an OGH. A conditionally challenging date in this grade and EXTREMELY RARE any finer. No doubt there is some duplication of submissions at this grade level in hopes of receiving a higher grade. Brilliant luster shows hints of reflectivity in the fields. A boldly struck GEM with beautifully original golden-rose-pale green tone. All the details in the Indian’s hair and buffalo are accented by the color and semi-reflective luster. Despite not being CAC, this coin is all there and then some! PCGS 42, NGC 18. There were two non-CAC PCGS graded examples sold in 2021--the two most recent examples sold in auction--realizing $9,600 and $7,500 in February and June respectively. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $13,500. Cert. Number 2560214 PCGS # 3943
