ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD, this coin is certainly proof positive of that statement. You truly need to see this coin in hand to fully appreciate the MAGNIFICENT toning. I've never seen pastel rainbow toning displayed so beautifully as it is on this coin. Concentric rings of color graduate across the mirrored fields in a riot of color starting with crimson and blue and progressing to Barbie pink to lemon yellow at the centers. The reverse is uniformly a soft apricot hue. The devices are struck to full advantage and graced by copious amounts of mint frost. A few light fly specks of carbon are noted with a loupe. PCGS 195, NGC 160, only 6 of which are PR-66+! Listed in the PCGS Price Guide for $2250, but that could be meaningless based on the beauty of the coin! A prize for the lover of cool toned coins!
