详细说明: THE CORINTH COLLECTION The 97-O half comes from a lower mintage of only 632,000 and of those, precious few survived in GEM Mint State grades. This is a spectacular example, housed in a PCGS "ratter" first generation holder, and is very conservatively graded. CAC awarded it a GOLD bean. A glorious satiny sheen radiates with an intense brilliance on both sides. Virtually untoned, this PQ GEM displays a hint of the faintest pearly golden iridescence. Sharply impressed from a precision blow from the dies, The fields and devices are sleek, clean, and free of any distractions of any kind. The eye appeal is AMAZING. CONSERVATIVELY GRADED, this GEM is truly amazing. PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC GOLD 1. This date RARELY comes up for sale in any high grade; the last PCGS MS65 sold nearly a decade ago. In MS66, a PCGS/CAC example sold for $19,200 in March 2018 (Stack's Bowers sale of the AJ Vanderbilt Collection, ex Stack's May 1968, lot 1527). This coin is just as clean (if not cleaner), and has a great look. In MS66 the PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $14,500, in MS66+ it is $17,500, and in MS67 it is $32,500.
