- 1740-X Half Sou Marque. Amiens Mint. Vlack-318. Rarity-7. EF-40 (PCGS). 14.7 grains. The second, equally rare punctuation variant of this one year only demi-sou marque issue from the Amiens Mint. Light pearl-gray in color with mottled olive-gray overtones, surfaces a bit rough in places with a few faint scratches. Boldly defined on a slightly irregular planchet. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
