- GERMANY. Adolf Hitler & the Third Reich Silver Medal, 1940. PCGS SP-64 Gold Shield. 36 mm. Colbert-Hyder C-122. By Karl Goetz. Bust left of Adolf Hitler, anepigraphic except for artist's signature; Reverse: An oak stump sprouting a new branch, dates of the first two German empires to left and right. A swastika and "ADOLF HITLER / 1940" embraced by the new growth. Edge incorrectly lettered "BAYFR HAUPTMUNZAMT". Smooth matte silver finish, toned with blue and golden hues. Estimate: $300 - $400.
