1722 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 2.13-C.4, W-1264. Rarity-5. UTILE DULCI. AU-53 (PCGS). 100.9 grains. A variegated blend of gold, olive-brown and charcoal patina adorns the surfaces of this impressive, high grade specimen. The dentils are incomplete between 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock on both sides, and brief peripheral die cracks and minor rim bumps are also observed.
