- CHINA. Szechuan-Tibet. Rupee, ND (1902-11). Chengdu Mint. PCGS AU-58. L&M-358; K-588; KM-Y-3.1; WS-0754-2. Variety without collar, with horizontal rosette, and with hollow leaf above "si". This often crudely made and poorly preserved type is presented here in phenomenal condition and displays only the faintest evidence of circulation. An impressive strike is rendered on the surfaces, and some handsome toning coats the devices and fields. RARELY encountered in such a stunning and original quality. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
