Ex. R.S.D. Collection Wow! What a highly lustrous, premium quality GEM that is oh, so close to a full MS67 grade. The surfaces swirl with a vibrant rolling cartwheel luster. Beautifully toned surfaces on both sides suggest that this coin sat unmolested for many, many years in an old paper envelope. Amber, gold, violet, with tinges of teal, olive, pink, and dappled original silver surfaces dazzle the eye. The strike is essentially full and the eye appeal is very high end and totally original. Formerly from the #1 ALL TIME SET, with the R.S.D. pedigree, you know that the quality is all there and then some, as well as having a SUPERB eye appeal. PCGS 22, NGC 10, CAC 8. Three examples sold in August 2018, ranging in price from $1,920 to $2,310; those were the three most recent MS66s to sell.
