- LARGE 8, SMALL STARS, MEDIUM LETTERS. A beautiful, lustrous GEM BN large cent. The quality of this coin is simply SUPERB. Radial mint luster rolls with swirling cartwheels. Sharply struck with boldly defined devices and visibly doubled on the profile and in LIBERTY. A major die crack can be seen on the obverse. Accents of light blue and rose blend over the medium milk-chocolate brown surfaces. PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 3. The other MS65+ BN that sold realized $7,050 and even a regular MS65 BN CAC sold for $6,756 in our December 2015 auction.
