This late date Walker is remarkably rare so fine; while common in grades up to MS66, only 55 have graded MS67 or higher at NGC. This is a richly toned example with both sides displaying a mix of coppery-orange and gold, infused with a verdant vibe. The strong luster provides a delightful back light, bringing out the subtle differences in color as the surfaces are rotated in a light. Well struck throughout, this beauty is worthy of a great short set of toned dollars. PCGS 89, NGC 49. Not as common as you might think since April 2015, only three NGC MS67s have sold in auction, the most recent realizing $760 and $780. The current Collectors Universe value is $1,250. NOTE: Neither service has graded anything finer than MS67+ in the current Pops, and this one is housed in an older holder. Cert. Number 505701-004 PCGS # 6627.00
