Among the FINEST graded examples, there is just a SINGLE example graded higher in the RD category. Despite a generous mintage, these were not saved at the time of issue and most are lower grade. This SUPERB GEM is a blazing ball of fiery RED luster! WOW! Swirling red cartwheels roll smoothly along the surfaces, highlighting the razor sharp devices. The surfaces are essentially FLAWLESS and truly amazing. The eye appeal is off the charts. PCGS 19, NGC 6, CAC 8. There are five graded MS66+ RD, and just one finer. The PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $17,500; two have sold in auction, most recently this piece in our April 2022 Regency Auction at $14,100.
