- 1846 Braided Hair Cent. N-9. Rarity-2. Grellman Die State b. Small Date. MS-63 RB (PCGS). OGH. Attractive faded mint red to brown, with enough red showing to please the numismatic eye. The strike is average with blunt areas at the of Liberty's coronet and the stars. No spots beyond a few traces of specks or carbon in the dentils.
