CSA Issue, Die Crack Bisecting the Date. The 1861-O half dollar has an interesting history because of the mintage of the date from three distinct sources, the Union, the State of Louisiana and the Confederate States of America. PCGS 35, NGC 27. PCGS Price Guide is $3,500. An example sold in September 2019 for $2,880 but it was dark and splotchy. This coin should fetch a handsome price and garner spirited bidding. Cert.
