- ECUADOR. Moneda de Quito 8 Reales, ND (1831). Quito Mint. VF-20 (PCGS). KM-10. "MDQ" countermark (Moneda de Quito) on Colombia Cundinamarca 8 Reales 1820-JF (KM-C6). Listed in Krause as "Rare". Full details on countermark, also full details on host (VERY RARE to see in this condition) with gray to dark gray toning. It will be a long time before this particular countermark/host coin pairing is seen again in this state of preservation. Estimate: $350 - $500.
