- FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION Far SUPERIOR to the normal MS65 graded 1912-D nickels you see in the marketplace! The fields are awash in satiny mint luster and really lovely soft gold and pale tangerine toning highlights. Nice strike for the issue. A tiny toning speck is noted between stars 11-12 and only with a powerful loupe. A prize for the astute collector. PCGS 182, NGC 88, CAC 31. A CAC example sold back in August 2017 for $1,763.
