- 1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-106. Rarity-4+. Curl Base Knob 2. EF-45+ (PCGS). CAC. Blundered Edge Lettering: the words OR and HALF are punched over one another. This lovely Choice EF is lightly toned in a blend of silver-lilac, olive-gray and antique gold. The in hand appearance is exceptionally smooth for a Bust half dollar that acquired approximately 15 points of wear, the detail bold to sharp over all but a few isolated design elements.
