- A gorgeous Proof 1874 Indian Head cent! Gem reflective quality in the fields enlivens traces of magenta toning over golden red-brown surfaces. Sharply impressed and with just a few minor toning flecks on either side. The eye appeal is excellent. Only 700 Proofs were struck. PCGS 58, NGC 39, CAC 17. The most recent brought $1,525 in March 2022; a level higher than both the CAC CPG and PCGS Price Guides.
