- A lovely GEM example of this conditionally VERY RARE issue, and this one ranks among the top graded at either sevice. Both sides display sharply struck devices are fully and crisply defined. The details really do stand out against beautifully preserved surfaces. A wealth of satiny mint frost glows warmly under the pastel tangerine-peach and pearly-silver tone. The eye appeal is amazing. PCGS 58, NGC 13, CAC 15. There are six graded MS66+ and just eight are graded finer. The last one to sell in auction realized $15,275 in our September 2019 Regency Auction and prior to that one sold in the 2014 FUN auction for $18,800. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $15,000. Remember that the PCGS value jumps to $35,000 in MS67, making this coin a great value in comparison, and should bring a very strong bid.
