- 1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-49. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. VF-25 BN (NGC). Deep charcoal-copper patina is seen on both sides of this overall boldly defined VF. The obverse is uniformly denticulated around the border, although the reverse is devoid of this feature at the viewer's right with corresponding softness of detail to the letters in the words OF AMERICA. Microscopically porous, yet with a pleasing appearance for a mid grade large cent of this early design type. PCGS# 901374. NGC ID: 223M.
