1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller-1.3-L, W-2735. Rarity-6. Mailed Bust Right, INDE ET LIB--Museum Inked--VG-10 (PCGS). The Taylor-Perkins specimen. Deep golden-brown with chocolate highlights and some faint granularity that rears its head under low magnification, attribution number in white paint on the obverse. Slightly off-center on both sides, the obverse rim near to the tops of NEC, the reverse rim through ET and tight to the tops of LIB. Not noticeably marked save for two natural planchet flaws, one on the obverse at OR, the other in the folds of Liberty's drapery at her shins. Not a great rarity in the series, but certainly scarce enough that a small bidding war may oocur when it crosses the auction block.
