This SUPERB GEM is fully Prooflike with a bold, flashy, reflective luster in the fields that surround the frosty, sharply struck devices. Die polish lines are seen on both sides, which created the flashy, mirror-like reflection. Wonderfully toned, this wholesome Civil War date issue makes for a great type coin for collectors. PCGS 43, NGC 25, CAC 42. The two most recent sold in August 2018, one realizing $1,650 in an internet auction and the other $1,920 in the ANA auction.
