CHINA. Pattern Dollar Struck in Silver, Year 16 (1927). NGC MS-61. L&M-85; Kann-609; Wenchao-pg.555 #898 (rarity three stars). Pattern designed by Richard Placht, Austrian medalist and engraver for the Vienna Mint. Although attractive and elegant in its design, this pattern was destined to be met with disapproval. Al
