- Circa 1875 Double Head muling by George H. Lovett. Musante GW-853, Baker-A240. Copper. MS-65 RB (PCGS). 27.6 mm. Deep orange copper with accents of golden brown, violet and blue. This is a rare muling of the obverses of Baker-296 and Baker-240. It is known in copper and white metal and is rare in either metal. This is the Musante plate piece. Provenance: Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
