详细说明: 1901 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-65+ Cameo (NGC). CAC. A pleasing Cameo Proof example of a date that is seldom found with this very desirable contrast. A fully brilliant, snow-white appearance enhances the frosty devices and deeply mirrored fields. One of 813 Proofs produced for collectors. For the record, NGC has certified just 29 examples of the date with a Cameo designation, while 262 Proofs without the Cameo designation have thus far been certified, making for a factor of better than 9 to 1 between the two designations. Of the Cameo Proofs certified by NGC, only 12 have received finer grades than the present coin. Further, the 1901 Morgan dollar in Mint State is a widely publicized rarity, which places extra demand on Gem Proofs when collectors seek a nice Morgan dollar of the date. If you desire a 1901 Cameo Proof Morgan dollar, you will do well to be aggressive in your bidding, for there are very few examples of this date that meet the Cameo criteria, and we can't predict when we'll offer another.
