详细说明: Newman 8-X, W-6750. A stunning GEM example of this famed Bank of New York Hoard variety. In 1948, the hoard contained a whopping 189 examples, accounting for 11.5% of the total number of Fugio coppers found. Tied for FINEST graded at PCGS in the RB designation, and there are none in RED! This variety is known by the massive die break that created a bulge at the lower obverse that obliterates part of MIND YOUR BUSINESS, and usually accounts for the weak strike on the corresponding portion of the reverse. This lustrous example is wonderfully sharp, with all of MIND YOUR BUSINESS complete. Every detail on the Sunface, the rays, the sundial, all of it is crisply impressed into the planchet. Perfectly centered on both sides. Exceptionally lustrous for a Colonial or Confederation copper, this coin has a monster visual allure. PCGS 9, NGC 8. The last PCGS MS65 RB Newman 8-X to sell in auction brought $10,575 back in 2013, and it did not look like this!
