This is the SINGLE FINEST GRADED 1860 Proof half dollar in the non-CAM designation and is the FINEST with CAC approval in any designation. An immaculate ultra high end and PERFECTLY preserved SUPERB GEM. The mirrored fields are icy and glassy with bold, brilliant, ultra reflection. The devices are incredibly sharp and frosty with a near CAMEO contrast seen on both sides. Marvelously toned surfaces are awash in majestic royal purple, soft azure, peachy-rose, and hints of sage-green at the periphery. The reverse has splashes of fuchsia in the central areas. The smooth, glassy fields are extremely clean and devoid of any flaws of any kind! What a MONSTER! Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. This is the ONLY PR67+ graded at either service. The last PCGS PR67 sold back in 2005! This coin is unpriced in the PCGS Price Guide. We have ZERO doubt that it will realize a world record! Cert.
