Beautiful and watery! This is a very popular early Proof, the first issue of Proof Walkers. The fields are watery-reflective and the have a nice flash all over. Sharply struck devices stand out against the essentially GEM quality surfaces. We note a few tiny flecks that account for the grade, but they do not detract and there are no visible hairlines or other distractions to the excellent eye appeal. PCGS 684, NGC 403, CAC 80.. There aer only 8 graded PR64+. NO CAC approved example has ever sold in auction. The most recent non-CAC PR64+ sold for $2,070 in July 2017; we sold a PCGS/CAC PR64 for $1,650 in August 2018 and the last PCGS/CAC PR65 sold in September 2018 for $2,651.
