Ex Young Dakota Set, as noted on the insert. From our December 2016 Regency Auction, lot 225, where it was described as: "Superb in every respect! We do very much rank this as a VERY high end coin. Deep mirrors beam vividly from all over. They have tremendous clarity, are super clean, and have a stunning reflection. Both sides are sprinkled with pale pewter/olive/lavender toning. This coin is far from dull. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is super!" PCGS 22, NGC 22, CAC 13. Only 425 Proofs were struck. The most recent example realized $1,920 in May 2019. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,550 and the CAC CPG value is $1,500. Seems cheap for a coin that has such a low mintage and is in such a lofty state of preservation! Cert. Number 30125300 PCGS # 4898.00
