This is just a monster of an 1878 Indian Head cent. One look and you know this coin is all there and then some from both a technical and aesthetic standpoint. Clearly it is worthy of its lofty Mint State grade and approval by CAC. Vivid and brilliant red luster rolls over the exceptionally smooth problem free surfaces. The color is totally original, flaming red that shows some light golden accents around the sharply struck devices. PCGS 15, NGC 6, CAC 9. This is the coin that sold in June 2018 for $15,600; a record price for the date. There are three coins graded higher at PCGS, including an MS67 RD that has not been seen in auction in nearly two decades. Worthy of a very strong bid again, clearly the current PCGS Price of $7,000 is way too low for a high end coin like this. It will again sell for a very strong bid. Good luck! Cert.
