- GERMANY. Empire. Awarding of the Iron Cross Silver Medal, ND (1914). PCGS SPECIMEN-63 Matte Gold Shield. Zetz-6003. By P. Sturm & Gruenthal in Berlin. Obverse: Uniformed bust of Wilhelm II right; Iron Cross to right; Reverse: Four soldiers, one of which is awarding an Iron Cross to another; branch between. Mostly deep gray surfaces, but exceedingly vibrant and colorful, with a charming luster shimmering throughout as well. Just one has been graded finer in the PCGS census.
