It boggles our single brain cell how this coin has survived 180 years in such a choice condition. No question this coin is 1000% original and has HIGH-END qualities.
Outstanding surfaces have only scattered nearly microscopic ticks. Overall, the surfaces have a thick satiny look and are totally smooth. There is NO question this coin is 100% original. Both sides are an even deeper gold with greenish gold highlights. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 18 NGC 13, CAC 5. PCGS has possibly only graded 5 coins higher (all MS64's with only 2 CAC's) after all these years. NO PCGS CAC piece has ever sold via auction. That is powerful proof as to not only how rare they are but how behind all published prices are. FYI: There is a non CAC piece on the market for $13,750. The current Collectors Universe value is $12,500. Want something different for a Type set? Love earlier gold? This coin will more than please you!
