A real GEM example of the final year of the series. Only 600 Proofs were struck, and this date really is scarce in PR65 and finer grades. Bold, watery mirrors have a strong reflective sheen on both sides. Light iridescent tone can be seen in the fields, attesting to the unconserved, original nature of the surfaces. Every detail is crisply embossed on Ms. Liberty and the eagle and there is some decent contrast between the frosty devices and mirrored fields. PCGS 32, NGC 31, CAC 11. Do not let the pops fool you. before we sold the most recent PCGS PR65 in our July Premier Session for $1,375, only two other appearances have taken place since 2007! The current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,500. These are too cheap!
