- 1881 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-67 Cameo (PCGS). Silky-smooth surfaces are free of detracting contact and solidly graded at the Superb Gem level. Virtually untoned on the obverse with only a small area of color over Liberty's head, the reverse presents a beautiful overlay of turquoise-blue and cobalt-blue. The toning does not impair the visual contrast between the fields and devices. A conditionally rare specimen for the high-quality type or date collector. This coin is part of an original, matched, fresh to market 1881 Proof Set, and the other coins from the set can be found elsewhere in this sale.
