GREAT BRITAIN. Laurel, ND (1624). London Mint. James I. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. S-2638B; KM-75; Fr-242; North-2114. Third coinage; im: trefoil. A highly impressive and nearly choice example of this issue from late in the reign of James I. Though a slight degree of weakness is noted on his face, all other details on each side exhibit a sharpness of strike.
