EX. GERALD R. FORSYTHE COLLECTION, as noted on the insert. Another AMAZING coin from this famed cabinet! Tied for FINEST at PCGS, and it is so easy to see why! Wonderfully original in every way, the fields have a watery texture that flashes through pale iridescent toning, especially on the reverse. The surfaces are clean, free of all but the most insignificant, microscopic fleck or two, and have a bold, glassy smoothness and reflection. The devices are sharply struck, with full and crisp definition. The eye appeal is incredible and the quality is truly ultra high end. PCGS 21, NGC 20, CAC 19. There are 17 in PR67+ at PCGS (a number that has to be inflated by numerous resubmissions). We have had the honor of selling every PCGS PR67+ since December 2019, including this one for $3,408 in March 2020. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,000.
