A very pleasing O-111 housed in a first generation PCGS "rattler" holder. Wonderfully original, this coin has the initial look of a higher, fully CHOICE grade. The devices are sharply struck and there are no major marks, lines or any distractions on the satiny surfaces. Rich album toning rings both sides, and the eye appeal is exceptional for the assigned grade. NOTE: The old PCGS encapsulation has a few cracks. PCGS 83, NGC 80, CAC 12. The most recent PCGS/CAC examples sold in April 2022, one for $1,440 and the other for $3,000.
