GREAT BRITAIN. Great Exhibition Bronze Prize Medal, 1851. NGC MS-63 Brown. BHM-2462; Eimer-1456. Conjoined busts of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert left with two dolphins below and trident behind; Reverse: Britannia seated at left conferring laurel wreath upon Industry with Africa, America, Asia and Europe looking on. Awarded to "Patent Pointed Screw Co." Sharply struck high relief design with lovely smooth surfaces that display rich chocolate patina. Estimate: $300 - $400.
