- 1739-)( Sou Marque. Besançon Mint. Vlack-278. Rarity-1. VF-30 (PCGS). This richly original example exhibits charcoal peripheral highlights to dominant steely-rose patina. Appreciable silvering remains, the surfaces smooth for the grade with no flan flaws or post-production blemishes of note. The detail softens toward the upper obverse and lower reverse, the date weak, but legible, and all other key features discernible. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
