- IRELAND. Shilling, 1561. Dublin Mint; mm: Harp. Elizabeth I. PCGS EF-45. S-6505. Remarkably choice for the issue, this piece exhibits a bold strike (and a tremendous portrait of Elizabeth I!) on a round flan of good quality with no marks of noteworthiness over the surfaces. A thin ring of blue tone at the edges adds additional character to this example that is only surpassed by a singe AU-50 in the PCGS population report. Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.
