- 1863 French Liberty Head / Wilson's 1 Medal. Fuld-19/396 a. Rarity-2. Copper. Plain Edge. MS-66 RB (NGC). 19 mm. Plenty of original faded champagne-pink mint color remains on both sides of this luxurious premium Gem. Both sides are also lightly toned in iridescent lilac-brown, the surfaces frosty in texture and as nice as would be expected for the assigned grade. The surface preservation and eye appeal are outstanding for this otherwise readily obtainable die pairing in the Patriotic Civil War token series.
