This is a visually stunning example of this first year of the Legend Obverse type. Sublime and brilliant reflective mirrors beam boldly all over, enlivening the splashes of iridescent toning. The surfaces are awash with emerald, deep blue, tangerine-gold, and crimson-rose are intermingled with areas of original silver scattered throughout. The sharply struck devices have a rich, thick frost that stands out against the surrounding fields. High end quality, we do not know what CAC saw that they didn't sticker this SUPERB GEM. The eye appeal is sensational! Only 1000 were struck. PCGS 5, NGC 0. The only PR67+ we sold, was in a weaker market, realizing $9,106. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $10,750. Just a single PR68 CAM is graded higher, a coin that today would sell for around double were it to appear.
