Choice AU New Orleans Mint Eagle Struck in rich yellow gold with areas of reflectivity in protected areas of the design, especially around the obverse stars. Surfaces exhibit relatively modest circulation marks for an issue that circulated extensively. The coin is attractive and pleasing overall, and well deserving of the CAC sticker. PCGS 16, NGC 25, CAC 8. PCGS price guide value is $6,000. This coin was last sold at auction in March 2018 when it realized $4,800. The date is mostly available in the lower circulated grades, is scarce in AU and rare in Mint State. An opportunity to acquire a pleasing coin from the historic New Orleans Mint. Cert.
