1855 Braided Hair Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Upright 5s. MS-66 BN (PCGS). CAC. This is a charming example with mottled lilac-brown patina to surfaces that also retain ample pinkish-rose luster, the latter of particular note for the obverse. That side of the coin is sharply defined in the centers, while the reverse is well struck throughout. Smooth and satiny in texture with strong eye appeal, this delightful Gem is equally well suited for inclusion in a high grade type or variety set. PCGS# 1907. NGC ID: 226M.
