A very impressive, SUPERB GEM 45-S War Nickel! Among the highest graded examples at PCGS, this highly lustrous example has a blazing, intense luster on both sides. The both sides have just the slightest touch of pale gold at the peripheries, but are mostly white, untoned silver. We do note a tiny toning dot on the reverse. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 13, NGC 0. The most recent example sold in our August 2020 Regency Auction for $3,995 and before that, we sold one in March 2019 for $7,344. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $5,000. There are just two graded MS68 FS finer, neither of which have ever sold in auction, making this example one of the FINEST obtainable by the advanced collector. Do not take this opportunity lightly.
