One of the FINEST examples of this late date Walker, PCGS has graded just a single MS68 finer. This is a highly lustrous example with remarkable surfaces that are super clean and satiny smooth. A reasonable luster glows from all over. Both sides have totally natural toning. A ring of reddish gold forms a crescent on the obverse and parts of the reverse. The balance of the colors are deep lilac with a kiss of gold and faint blue. The only thing keeping this coin from CAC approval is a tiny hint of contact in the dreaded right obverse field (visible really only with a strong glass). The eye appeal is truly amazing! WOW. PCGS 14, NGC 2. Just a single MS68 is graded finer. NO non-CAC approved PCGS coin has ever sold in auction. We sold the last three PCGS-graded MS67+s, all CAC approved, ranging from $8,225 to $10,575. This gorgeous coin rivals those in terms in eye appeal and should sell for a similar range. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $10,500 and the only 68 sold a decade ago. Good luck. Cert. Number 40253017 PCGS # 6604.00
