1881 Seated Liberty Dime. Proof-67 * Cameo (NGC). CAC. A key date that has a very low mintage of 975 pieces in proof and a mere 24,000 for circulation. This coin boasts exceptionally beautiful blue, russet and gold toning in perfect concentric circles on the obverse and reverse, with the centers showing rose-gold to yellow-gold. Highly reflective mirror fields surround the frosted devices, and the eye appeal is quite exceptional for this rare date. One of the finest certified by NGC, and importantly there are no Deep Cameo coins graded by NGC with more contrast, so the present offiering is one of the absolute finest.
