CHINA. China - Great Britain. Visit of Sir Chihchen Lo Feng Lu to the Birmingham Mint White Metal Medal, 1900. PCGS SPECIMEN-62. L&M-936; BHM-3666; Eimer-1838. Diameter: 38mm. Obverse: Capped bust facing slightly left; Reverse: Legend and date in ten lines. Edge: Plain. Already a difficult type, this commemorative issue is rather RARE when so majestically preserved. Exceptionally brilliant and lustrous, with a highly mirrored nature. A few light hairlines and marks are noted in the reverse field merely for completeness. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
