GERMANY. Prussia. General Hans Rudolf Bischoffwerder Bronze Medal, 1797. PCGS SPECIMEN-64 Gold Shield. Sommer-A55 var. (gold). By Loos. Obverse: Uniformed bust left; Reverse: Two female allegories facing one another--one seated right on base, holding bow, and one standing left, holding wreath and patera; military implements at bottom of base. Incredibly lustrous and intense, with brilliant chocolate brown surfaces and a minimum number of light hairlines. A VERY RAREand interesting type. Estimate: $100 - $200.
