- BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1714-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Diego de Ybarbouru (Y). Philip V. PCGS VF-35. KM-30; Cal-1166. Weight: 12.89 gms. This stunning 4 Reales piece is endowed with eye appeal and sharp detail in equal measure. The well-centered obverse shows two assayer's initials, two mintmarks, the denomination, and a slightly muddled central date. Three digits of the outer date also appear quite clearly. The reverse is no less impressive, with an added denomination, mintmark, assayer, and date appearing around the boldly-struck cross with castles and lions. The surfaces are free from problems and attractively toned, with darker coloration in the fields that emphasizes the details that much more.
