- FRANCE. Coronation of Napoleon as Emperor Silver Medal, AN XIII (1804). PCGS SP-63 Gold Shield. 32 mm. cf. Bramsen-326. Laureate Napoleon bust facing right, Inscription: "NAPOLEON EMPEREUR" to left and right; Reverse: A senator and a soldier support Napoleon standing on a shield. Legend: "LE SENATE / ET LE PEUPLE" around. An interesting die cud appears at 9:00 on the reverse rim. Silvery gray with golden highlights on either side. Attractive overall. Estimate: $250 - $400.
